Watts Mill located on 103rd East of State Line in Kansas City, Missouri. The mill was built in 1832 on the banks of Tomahawk Creek. All that remains are some limestone structures. You can read more about the history on the Waldokc Website.
The area is quite beautiful, and if you go down near the stream, you will feel like you are miles away from the nearby businesses. You will see the falls, and during low water you can walk on the limestone creek bed.

There are a few picnic tables, so you can watch the ducks while dining on carry-out from Jasper's Marco Polo Restaurant.

The character of Watts Mill changes with the seasons and rainfall. It's well worth adding to your list of local attractions.
