Alexander Majors Historic House and Museum
The Alexander Majors Website states, "Perhaps no one did more to help shape the future of the American West and the commercial destiny of Kansas City than Alexander Majors." He was a founder of the Pony Express and The Overland Stage Company.
You can experience some of that history when you visit his home, located at 8201 State Line Road in Kansas City Missouri. The 3,400 square foot home was built in 1856 and restored in 1984. It is on the National Register of Historical Places.
